Product Maturity Metrics (PMMs)
To prepare personnel from senior management to practitioner, APT offers training in management and conduct of risk, issue, and opportunity assessments. Practitioner courses are classroom-based with a case study providing an intensive immersion into the application of knowledge, skills, and abilities required to conduct in-depth manufacturing, technology, or program assessments at a prime or sub-contractor facility. We also offer shorter online courses that cover the fundamentals of the assessment tools and techniques.
If your organization has contracts that include requirements for AS6500A, or is planning to implement the standard as a best practice, APT provides orientation and implementation training with insight gained from APT participation in the AS6500A Standard development and updating.
MRL Training
APT's MRL training provides the most up-to-date insight and material on the MRL Assessment (MRA) process. Developed and led by leading practitioners in the conduct of manufacturing risk, issue, and opportunity assessments, encompassing activities from the program or management office to design and engineering and to the factory floor. Instructors are active members of the MRL Working Group and other DoD-Industry groups for many years.

TRL Training
APT's TRL training provides insight and best practices on the TRL Assessment process (TRA). The training was developed and is led by leading practitioners in the conduct of product development and technology risk assessments. Instructors are Subject Matter Experts in the application of TRAs as applied by DoD, NASA, and GAO.

AS6500A Training
Developed to complement to SAE materials on AS6500, APT's implementation training offers a thorough discussion of content, and more comprehensive coverage of the standard. Included are the definitions, requirements, and intent of the standard, as well as Frequently Asked Questions on implementation within your organization. Instructors are active members of the G-23 Committee and part of the ongoing development of this manufacturing management standard.

Program Management Metrics Training
APT's PMM training was developed and is led by leading practitioners in the conduct of product development and production risk assessments. PMM were developed to provide what every program manager needs as a streamlined assessment asking the 20 questions that are key to program status and risk at key decision points. The instructors conceived of and developed PMMs and have performed numerous PMM assessments.
